Satu tahun perjalanan Software Architect Indonesia Community (SARCCOM), sudah mengadakan lebih kurang 19 event termasuk meetup dan workshop. So excited!
Berawal dari sebuah ide ingin sharing dan belajar tentang Software Architecture dengan 10-20 orang saja, kemudian saya share ide ini dengan rekan kerja saya Buyung Bahari. Saya share visi dan misinya, motivasi dan ide-ide terkait lainnya. Setelah cukup banyak bertukar pikiran, akhirnya kami menemukan bahwa kami memiliki visi dan misi yang sama. Akhirnya meetup pertama yang tadinya diset ditempat kecil untuk 10-20 orang, berubah menjadi untuk 50 orang, lengkap dengan goody bag, snack dan kopi. Dengan bantuan dari teman dan sahabat Buyung kami mengadakan meetup pertama kami di Qubicle Jakarta. Dan kami ingin mengucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada CEO Codigo Rohalina Gunara yang telah mempercayai kami dan meetup pertama kami. Very appreciate!
Saya mau membahas sedikit tentang Software Architect. Yups there is a lot of job description related to this title. There are many titles similar with this. Seperti Technical Architect, Principle, Solution Architect dan yang lainnya. Tapi yang mau saya tekankan adalah aspek-aspek yang terkait dengan Architect yaitu Leadership and Communication, Technology Knowledge, Business Domain Knowledge dan Methodologies.
Meetup yang kami adakan biasanya terdiri dari technical dan non-technical. Contoh seperti meetup di Microsoft, kami menyisipkan satu sesi tentang leadership yang dibawakan oleh Pak Risman Adnan direktur Samsung Research Indonesia. Selain itu jika kamu lihat di website http://sarccom.org, kamu akan lihat daftar Software Architecture in Industries. Apa maksudnya, harapanya adalah kamu bisa mendapatkan pengetahuan dan inspirasi untuk aspek technology knowledge dan business domain knowledge. Karena setiap industri memiliki domain bisnis yang beragam, yang dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas, skill, adaptasi dan pengambilan keputusan bagi seorang Software Architect. Itu hanya sedikit dari banyak penjelasan lainnya.
Tidak ada yang bisa mengetahui dengan pasti, berapa lama untuk bisa menjadi seorang Software Architect, menjadi seorang architect itu adalah sebuah petualangan, so let’s join SARCCOM let’s do journey together 😊
